Apartment Review for Townhouse Park Apartments - Richmond, VA

Security is ok. That is if seeing 6 police cars as you pull into the complex considered safe. Parking is a joke. I have lived here 11 years and always paid attention to the rules of parking in thie complex, yet there are those that were not which made Townhouse crack down on the whole parking situation. In the past few years Townhouse has made changes in the parking giving only those with passes a place to park and giving only one vistor pass. Additional passes are $50.00. BEWARE, if you should forget to place a pass in your friends window (as I did not long ago) and it gets towed, be prepared to pay $120.00. It seems those of us who try and play by the rules and make honest mistakes get burned. Appearance/Upkeep is okay. The complex has made some changes to make the place look better. The dumpsters could go. Seeing lots of trash spilling out of the dumpsters and onto the road is not a pleasent sight. Management and Office Staff are new this year. Townhouse has yet AGAIN been replace my new Management. Hopefully they will make better changes. Example: Parking? Hey that could sure use some brain storming!!! Maintenance does a good job. My hats off to them. The only complaint is that they don't clean up after themselves. Other than that I have to complaints. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK Condition of unit is somewhat questionable. Units need better insulation from the cold. Noise level is a problem from time to time. If you like horns blowing at 7:00 in the morning or loud music from cars than this place is for you. Overall rating? I would have to say look somewhere else. It's not worth putting out the money for the apartment AND having a car towed. The trash in the roads are not kind to the eyes and unless the new management make changes in these areas I would not waste the time.
