Apartment Review for Three Willows Apartments - Richmond, VA

Moved here a few years ago and it was a much different place. Maintenance has greatly gone down; it is definitely not what it use to be. It use to be a time you would call maintenance and the response was immediate and the workers knew what they were doing. There is a whole new staff and they are sloppy at best. You have to wait longer several days to get work done, no reason for it since many of the units are empty. They have started renting to group homes with troubled young people and during the school season fights amongst the young people break out (seems to come from the group home mostly). There have even been some reports from residents of a drug home or two as well (property managers would deny it to save face). However, when you are constantly seeing a steady flow of traffic from one or two town homes that just means they are either a legal or illegal drug store. I believe it since when we first moved here over three years ago there were several elderly people, now most have left because of fear of the new elements moving in the town homes (some would say it is starting to look like Tijuana or Little Havana). The units have not been remolded since they built these probably 20 years ago, cabinets are falling apart and they just glue them to keep them together. They are offering remolded units but you have to pay to have your unit updated. Parking is a NIGHTMARE not enough parking and YOU WILL HAVE TO WALK A GREAT DISTANCE in some sections to get to your front door. They believe in TOWING, probably rumor has it that they get a kick back from the TOW company (who ever heard of being charged over $150 for a tow from where you live, sounds like a KICK back to me). If you are looking for quality appliances, trouble group home free, nice cabinetry, bathrooms ext. AVOID this PLACE like the PLAGUE. It is TRULY a Wolf in Sheep’s clothing; remember what your mamma use to say looks are deceiving. Thus my rating for appearance (outward definitely not inward
