Apartment Review for The Lofts At Canal Walk - Richmond, VA

I lived here for a year and it was a waste of money. The dishwasher broke multiple times and the washing machine NEVER worked. It flooded my apartment once and the staff never fixed it- even with many maintenance requests. I could have afforded a mortgage payment with the cost of rent for my studio apartment here. They also kept most of my security deposit, even though I cleaned it top to bottom- we're talking scrubbed with bleach! It's a waste of money. Parking is not secure. Worst of all is the noise. It is right across the street from a heavy metal bar with outdoor concerts 3 times a week. NO SLEEP for days at a time. I enjoyed living downtown, but NOT worth the price here. Find something more affordable without all the hype.
