Apartment Review for River City Apt - Richmond, VA

UGH! They are the biggest SCAMMERS EVER! First off, they will charge you for all maintenance requests... Since when should a tenant pay for maintenance on an apartment he's renting?? That's what I'm paying my landlords for! The garbage disposal is a busted cheap piece of shit, yet when it clogs (just using it like it should be used!) River City charges ME. Beware of fake reviews being written by River City! Everyone in the city knows they are scammers, and they will post fake reviews to make their apts. more appealing because they are having a hard time finding people to rent from them right now... BECAUSE THEY HAVE SCREWED SO MANY PEOPLE! And I mean SO MANY... I have been in their office before for some ILLEGITIMATE charges made by River City, and as I'm there, ten more people come in (their renters), OUTRAGED that they are being scammed in the same way! They are ruthless! Unless you have bank accounts full of money that you don't mind giving away to these assholes, do NOT rent from them! The office staff is HORRID and will talk down to you! Well, the last time I was there, there were new girls that seemed nice, but the more seasoned bitches working there are absolutely horrible. Rent is EXPENSIVE and when you renew they charge an extra $50 per month for your new lease. Plus, they advertise that rent is cheaper than it is, then when you're ready to sign you notice that there is an extra charge for water and sewer... Some things they won't tell you until the last minute! Trust me on this one!! GOD I JUST CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY THEM, AND IN SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS! BEWARE! BAD PEOPLE AND A CROOKED BUSINESS! Did I mention my closet was flooded, full of water, mold, etc., and they didn't fix the leak or the mold problem for FOUR MONTHS! That's right! I was at their office every week filling out a new maintenance request form, and they still didn't come for FOUR MONTHS! GOD THEY ARE HORRIBLE.
