Apartment Review for River City Apt - Richmond, VA

These people are horrible. The positive reviews are clearly written by office staff. Just check all the other rating sites (Google, apartmentratings.com, rip-off report, Kudzu...etc.). as well as the huge log of complaints with the Virginia Better Business Bureau and the Virginia Dept. of Consumer affairs. Or just knock on the doors of tenants and ask. Some of the apartments look okay when you move in. Then the mold breaks the paint away. There's lead a few layers down in that paint. In the Thompson apartments' courtyard, the ground is sinking under the sidewalks. If you must rent, get everything in writing. Everything! Get any maintenance requests certified, as well as complaints, or they will disappear. Be prepared for your signature to jump to different documents. Do yourself a favor, and run away from these people.
