Apartment Review for London Towne Apartments - Richmond, VA

My friends and I were all set to move into this place. It seemed pretty nice, apartment that we looked at was fairly spacious, the parking was relatively large..everything seemed good! I asked the woman who was showing us around what the crime rate was, and she responded that it was very low, that London Towne was a relatively quiet neighborhood, and there were no problems that she knew of. Well. Perhaps she can explain the 91 Henrico County Police visits that have occurred since March 1st of this year!! On the first page of incidents alone, via the Henrico County Police Website, there were two counts of vandalism, three counts of drunk in public, a MISSING CHILD...one count of discharging a firearm illegally. Adding to all that, there are reports of forcible entries into homes, burglaries, robberies, there was a drug bust there at one point...remember ALL since March 1st of THIS YEAR! Safe? Quiet? Everyone keeps to themselves? We were going to move here with a young child, a seven year old little girl! There will be no way in HELL that we'll be living anywhere near there. I understand that these peoples job is to rent out apartments, but NOT at the expense of the safety of their future residents. I would advice anyone that cares about the safety of themselves, their families, their children, and their friends to stay as far away from this place as humanly possible!
