Apartment Review for Hermitage Manor Apartments - Richmond, VA

I have lived in these apartments for 2 years. When we first moved in, it was the spring/summer and everything was fine. There were a few minor maintenance issues but the maintenance staff is professional and courteous. They fix your problem the same or next day after you call about it. When the colder months came, we realized that we weren't the only tenants. ROACHES!! OMG! I am appalled. I have small children who woke up, on more than one occasion, with a roach in their bed and I am NOT a nasty/dirty person. In fact, my home is very clean. I have done everything I can to eliminate this problem, including calling the rental office for pest control. They sent the people out to my unit but it does not fix the issue and I should not have to go through the hassle of moving around all of my furniture,dishes, etc. once or twice a month. The lady in the rental office is nice enough but doesn't seem to care or must think its a common occurence to have roaches. I also had issues with an old front/back door that allowed the cold air to rush in during the winter months. The apartments are old but are a good value for the price and they have plenty of room but i cannot continue to live with these pests! I'm moving!
