Apartment Review for Colonial Apartments - Richmond, VA

I moved here back in 2005. It was a nightmare from the very first day. The apartment i was to move in was a dump. The carpet was dirty, the kitchen counter sunk in, the thermostat was hanging by a wire and the sliding doors to the closets were off track. After ranting and raving the manager gave me another apt for the same amount of rent that was much bigger and had a full sized washer and dryer. Eventhough the floor sunk in in the living room and the refrigerator was broken I had to make myself satisfied because i was stuck I couldn't find another apartment in a day. It was very dangerous, it was nothing to hear gunshots or fighting not to mention the sound of the high school band or the race cars from the fairgrounds. Oh yes..when the fair is in town or the race is going on at the fairground you can forget about getting home from the Azelea enterance the police will be turning you around to enter at the wilkinson entrance 15 min. drive. If you are considering these apartments DON'T DO IT! IT WILL BE A NIGHTMARE.
