Apartment Review for Chesterfield Apartments - Richmond, VA

My stay at Chesterfield Apartments was a disappointing and sometimes bad experience. There is no functioning elevator available to residents. There is an old fashion lift elevator but they only have it running in the evenings and even that is by chance. Some staff are even reluctant to run the elevator. When I moved in, I had to cary all of my furniture up five flights of stares because there were no office staff to run the elevator. They've misplaced rent and utility checks on occasion and had even cashed some and then try and recharge us! The ONLY positive of these apartments is it's location to campus but considering the elevator situation it sorta defeats the benefit. Rent rises and utilities as well.
