Apartment Review for Carriage House Apartments - Richmond, VA

The maintanence guy, Eddie, is an ex-con! He said he used to work for a bookie in New York and break peoples legs when they didn't pay! He's lound, rude disrespectful and he treats students like their second class citizens. When ever we put in a service request to have something fixed, he would show up and say he had to order a part! He would even borrow money from the students! He always looks like he just got out of the bed. After about six months of him, we just stop putting in service requests. The location is great! The rooms are small. The rent is a good price. Everything was included so that helped.The walls are thin, you can hear your neighbors. Initially, we thought the property manager, Ms. Vanessa, was a bitch but we saw what she had to deal with. The people that own the place don't support her at all. She is strict but she cares. She's kind of like a dorm mother.
