Renovations Problems
Review Date: 11/30/2007 Reviewer: Anonymous
I moved into an apt that was just renovated. Within 3 wks of moving in I have had the following problems arise: Day one: Leaking toilet, shower head improperly installed; no chalking between the tile and the tub, and GFI outlet in the kitchen shooting out sparks with nothing plugged in. Week 3: Improperly installed lighting fixtures that prevent the opening of the vanity cabinet in the bathroom. GFI outlet in bathroom blows out. Call up Henrico County for a inspection and find out the outlet in the laundry rm that my washer is connected to is not grounded. While these guys are a quick at fixing things their choice in contractors was very poor. I cant justify anyone paying more then 800 per month in this complex for a one bedrm (due to the apts age)...and currently my rent is 910/mo. Please note I have only been here for four wks and all this is happening.... |
