Apartment Review for Amber Ridge Apartments - Richmond, VA

I lived there for 4 years only because I became very ill and was fighting for my life. The management was excellent when I first moved there. However that changed in 2008 when new management took over. The apartment had so much mold that I could not breath. The wall paper was as old as me, 40 something. I had a flood in my apartment because of the old air condition and they didn't replace the carpet. When the guy lifted the carpet up it was black, but he just sprayed it and that was the end. Soon after that I ended up with cancer. Go figure. When I moved in, I was told that they were going to remodel all the apartments. That was a lie. There were other posts about the mold on this site that have disappeared. Several of my neighbors moved because of the mold and the people that were starting to move in. The complex is going down hill. They let anybody move there because they were 60% empty. This place is expensive and not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend this place.
