Apartment Review for Genesis Properties - Richmond, VA

I wish I had never moved into Genesis. I they are one of the WORST rental companies in Richmond. Do not let the pretty appearance of the apartments fool you. The manager, Blakley or whatever doesn't do a DAMN thing to help out the tenants. All they care about is taking your money. The walls are RIDICULOUSLY thin and you can hear everything (music, sex, singing, walking, everything!)They have bugs and pests. A tenant in another building was bitten on the face by a rat! I have recently discovered a roach problem, and yet my apartment is clean. Big ones, small ones, doesn't matter. I've had roaches and spiders coming out of my brick wall in my bedroom, yet all they do is come and spray, which doesn't help a thing. The building is mainly students who like to yell and party and blast music at all times of the day and night, so you can forget about peace and quiet. I've had friends warn me before i rented with Genesis; I found out the hard way that it was all true. Its not even worth the price. PLEASE, RENT FROM SOMEONE ELSE.
